Stopped in for lunch with my son, we loved all the options! Plenty of veggies. The ribs were smokey and fall off the bone tender. My son enjoyed the fried catfish and shrimp. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be bringing my family back here!
Great atmosphere and service at this establishment. Tried the buffet with many options to choose from. The food was great no complaints at all. The waitress was outstanding checking on us constantly if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great experience. Will say the only issue was that you have to pay for the crab legs even if you do not get any. Just wished it would have been mentioned before hand on the price for it.
This is your go-to place if you're looking for a variety of food. There are 2 locations that I know of. Buffet-style with various meats, vegetables & a dessert & salad bar available daily & most nights. Country buffet weekdays & Seafood buffet on Saturday nights. However, I like the fact that you can also order from the menu. My only sticking point is that they automatically charge 15% gratuity for parties of 7 or more; even if they're on separate tickets. Keep this in mind when you're getting your family together or a group. It's worth the drive & I recommend
Love Berry’s! The buffet lunch is amazing!! The staff is unbeatable. I had some of the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had FOR LUNCH! The selection of food is overwhelming. It’s better than 99% of Thanksgiving day spreads. You better bring an appetite tho. It’s 25 per person but you eat all you can eat. Please, please, only get what you can eat. I know it costs a lot for food and keeping waste down helps them control the price. I can’t wait to go back!!
Can I give 10 stars?! WHAT A PLACE. This is living for Christ in EVERYTHING you do. Traveling through south Mississippi we came across this place as our bellies were growling. What we experienced was far beyond having our bellies filled with some of the absolute BEST cooking either of us have ever tasted, and that is saying alot from my husband! I am not exaggerating! But more than the excellent food, whole place engulfed us into the presence of the Lord as soon as we walked in. Beautiful paintings depicting the life of Christ, Bethel music videos declaring the glory of God and everyone serving with joy in their hearts and on their faces. Then.. THEN as I made my third trip to the buffet.. .. small portions.. I heard one of the bus boys, a handsome young man named Qudre, speaking the truth of the word of God to one of his coworkers. His face was beaming, the confidence in the Lord and joy in his heart could not be held in! As he went on to tell this young lady about the hope and instruction found in God’s word I just could not help myself from declaring AMEN! And he declared! Come on now! This is church! AMEN AND AMEN. I was able to talk to Qudre later.. the same thing. The Holy Spirit and Gods anointing was all over him. As we left I told the management how much we enjoyed our visit at their restaurant and about our experience. Then I saw Qudres picture on the table. He has recorded a song on YouTube. But another also happened during our meal. I saw something else that I have know in my heart to be true. All these people(mainly up north) trying make our nation divided by color, you folks need to visit the Deep South. We gave that mess up a long time ago and it hasn’t been as deep and as bad as what we see today for many many many decades. Oh Mississippi has a history, a rich history of rich people and poor people and that didn’t fall on racial lines. What a blessing to see how far we have come as southerners, people gathered to eat in a place that glorifies our Creator, no body thinking about race. And I have witnessed that for decades too. Christ is a common ground. And despite everything the deep south has a whole lot of Christ followers. I think folks up north need a full plate of how we do that down here, through Christ, humble living and good ole southern hospitality. Phenomenal atmosphere. So unexpected for such a small town. Outstanding service. Friendly faces everywhere. Patient, courteous patrons. I love small town America. Oh yeah, and their selection of seafood was so large, I couldn't try one of everything in one trip. I hope I'm back in the area one day. Definitely some stand out delicious dishes, like the sweet and spicy fried shrimp.
My wife and I were in Magee from New Orleans to pickup our new puppy from a local breeder when we noticed Berry's. Man, I'm glad we found it! The food was amazing, the staff were polite and the price was actually unbelievable. If you're in town, go!
7-28-24 First time here! It was a very beautiful place! I love that they display their love for Jesus and play christian music! Very good atmosphere! Very big nice buffet! Great salad bar! Loved the whole experience. Super nice attentive waitress too! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT ALL! I live a long ways away but if I am ever close by I WILL STOP IN AGAIN!!
